SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced that a pair of scheduled contests tonight (Saturday, January 18) in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Michigan have been postponed.
Both the Espanola Express at Soo Thunderbirds and the Elliot Lake Wildcats at Soo Eagles games have been called off due to weather.
With heavy snow, high winds and extremely poor road conditions ongoing in the region, the decision was made to call off the games.
Make-up dates for both match-ups will be announced by the NOJHL once they are finalized.
