Espanola Express wear gold as they help raise the Child Cancer Awareness flag at town hall

The Espanola Express, local towns people and class mates were at town hall to help raise the childhood cancer awareness flag in support of young Blake Bond. Blake is a local youth who was diagnosed with Leukemia at an early age and continues his battle on a daily basis. Blake and the Express both share a love for the sport of hockey as well as each other as he attends most home games and is a suto celebrity umongst the Jr.”A” players as they are quite often seen high fiving or playing mini sticks in the dressing room, developing a unique bond between both……Blake is their hero and vice versa for the young hockey player. “His courage and perseverance with his daily struggles keeps our boys grounded and inspired as they are always excited to rally behind their number 1 fan and will always support team Blake like he supports our team”, stated general manager Chad Clarke.
