ESPANOLA, ON – The Espanola Express are proud to announce the signing of Right Winger Josh Boucher from Sudbury, Ontario.
Last season Boucher led the Lo Ellen Park Secondary School Knights to an SDSSAA Division I title this past spring and a NOSSA Championship appearence. During the season Boucher had 16 goals and 15 assists in 17 games played. Boucher had spent time with the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves Midget AAA team in the Great North Midget League appearing in 10 games and earning 1 assist in those outings.
Boucher has been a teammate of Jakob Fahey’s in the 2017-18 season with the Copper Cliff Redmen. During that season they won the Nickel District & Northern Ontario Hockey Association Championship and were semi finalists at the Ontario Hockey Federation Midget AA Championship.
Like recent signing Josh McVeigh, Boucher can also play defence.
