2 Americans return on the Express train

Espanola Express

Press Release

The Espanola Express are proud to announce the return of two 20 year olds from the United States for the upcoming 2016-2017 season.

Returning to the Express blue line will be the big Pulaski, Wisconsin native, #7 Riley Tilot. Last season Tilot logged big minutes as he proved to be a steady well rounded defenceman. Riley stood at 6’2″ and 190lbs and used his big frame to control position and the puck in all 3 zones. Riley showed he had an offensive side to his game as well by posting 3 goals, 14 assists for a total of 17 points in 54 games played. “We are excited to have Tilot returning for his final junior year,” claimed Chad Clarke president of the Express. “Riley will be an anchor for us this year on the back end, he is the type of defenceman that we can trust in all situations and know he will accel while doing it,” expressed Clarke.

Also returning for the 2016-2017 season is 20 year old, #16 Aaron Roschinsky who hails from Canton, Michigan. Roschinsky is a hard nosed winger who sets up his office in all the dirty places especially the corners and in front of the net. He plays an exciting hard hitting, fast paced game that fans can’t get enough of. Aaron was definately a fan favourite last year as he crashed and banged his way into their hearts. The veteran winger posted 7 goals and 11 assist for 18 points in 38 games last season, while chalking up 85 penalty minutes. “Aaron plays a physical game and adds a ton of grit to our team. We expect Aaron to have a breakout year offensively as well this upcoming season,” said Clarke. “There isn’t a team in the league that doesn’t know exactly who he is and they are very aware when he is on the ice,” declared Clarke.
